MISSION “Pride In Heritage Children’s
Centre is a multicultural Childcare Centre.
We take pride in offering a safe, nurturing, supportive and welcoming
environment, providing a variety of inclusive learning experiences. We are recognized as one of the
leading Centres`, in our community, in providing a diverse program on behalf
of children and their families.” Pride in Heritage Children's Centre adheres to
the Human rights Code of Ontario. The Centre is committed to serving the public
in providing quality Child Care, without bias or judgment. Board, staff,
families and visitors all have the right to equal treatment with regard to
work environment, services and facilities. It is our mandate to treat every individual
with dignity and respect regardless of the person's race, ancestry, place of
origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation,
age, record of offenses, marital status, family status or handicap. A Community School Partnership Program
It is a nonprofit, community-based Centre with
a volunteer Board of Directors, located in Gateway Public School. Program Philosophy
The Centre provides a safe, warm and loving
atmosphere, while enhancing your child's development and growth in a
stimulating environment. Age
Our program is designed for children aged 2
1/2 to 12 years. Hours
Monday through Friday. 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the year,
including special full day programs during the summer and School Professional
Development Days. Fees
Regular fees are
very competitive. Subsidies are available for families who qualify. Many
families are eligible for subsidy. For assistance in obtaining subsidy,
